This is still really odd to me… I wish I got it and figured by now maybe I would.
It just feels weird and uncomfortable to me.
I don’t even care if there is a guy on the traditional cheer squad, that would be to me like “well, that’s just how things are now”.
I think with this military cheer group though it’s the mix of “hey we’re super masculine but also cheerleaders” that I don’t get.
I’ll probably get roasted for this but just curious what others think of it.

Uhhh I hate to break it to you guys but SC has male cheerleaders. They do have the enviable Position of being under our SC girls. But they are definitely male.

Hypothetically speaking would you rather cheer at the commands of their male cheerleader or be ringing a cowbell all game long ? And that "sooey" cheer SMH. The West.....geez.

Is them "appearing" super gay a problem?

Not sure I understand the issue here.
If you’re goal is to appear super gay then I would say, well done.
I don’t have a problem with it - it just seems like something that would develop when a bunch of dudes are around each other for wayyyyy too long and start blurring the lines a little in order to release their natural desires

Maybe they are just being themselves and aren't trying to be whatever "super" is supposed to mean to everyone else?
