Yes he did and I really like him as a person. I just don't know what the answer is. We aren't an attractive place for a good coach to come to. We have next to zero history of winning and a small state to recruit out of that doesn't produce a ton of talent. We are surrounded by bigger more established programs. It's not easy. I think we need a good young coach with a wide open offensive scheme that is fun to play for. Beamer could be that guy I think but he needs better people around him. We are not going to get another Holtz or Spurrier I don't think.

Playing on the road is tough no doubt, but you have to do it and you have to prepare to do it. “Spectacularly” is an accurate description of our failure to prepare for this game in every facet; I swear it looked like we had peewee league coaches. Our offensive “plan” continues to look like we must make sure to rotate the backs for no discernible reason at all, make sure if one of them does make a decent gain that we run the exact same play twice more, and ensure we have ZERO innovation or aggressiveness in our pass routes. Defensively, our “plan” is to tackle high and make feeble efforts to strip the ball, blow coverages on the reg, and blitz under penalty of law. Our friggin PUNTER shanked a spit rocket sideways. Yeah, spectacular it was indeed.

Our coaches need two weeks to prepare for a game unlike other coaches. Look at Florida. We should forfeit the "in-between" game and prepare for every other week. This is a joke. Bottom line ................ we have a bunch of inept coaches hired by an inept AD.
Yeah. There was no magic unity from starting Brown. No great OL improvement. No revives run game. UF has just quit. Samford outperformed our offense against UF…in the Swamp.
Maybe, just maybe the coach deserves the full support of the fan base for the FIRST year PERIOD.

The year should absolutely should start out that way. After the start, improvement is a must during the year... even if just a little. Not just the players but the coaches as well. They have clearly done that. He is well on his way to earning a full stadium
