THIS is why you can’t get a full stadium Beamer

Everytime we’ve had enthusiasm in the fanbase we get kicked in the teeth. We are tired of it. I’ll be at the Auburn game because I can’t give my ticket away but I’ll most likely go inside the Zone and watch other games on tv instead of sit in the cold and watch this crap. Don’t blame the fans not showing up, blame yourself for not being able to put a decent product on the field consistently.
Would you like a little s&p for your turd sandwich? Go to church and apologize to Jesus for doubting his boy Beamer.

Great win. Defense played really well after the 1st qtr or so. Brown has really impressed me with both his play & how he rebounds after a mistake. He has a short memory which is essential for playing the qb position.
Now Beamer & crew will have to figure out what to do with the constant blitz package they will see next Saturday. Tall order but there's no secret as to what clem will do on defense. TE's need to have great game.

lot of people in here should be eating a whole bunch of words right now. please give me one guy that coulda put us in a bowl game this year

That's not really an argument either side can win. Names can be thrown out, but one side will just claim they couldn't have done it, and the other would claim they could.

To be honest, the 3 ooc patsies and vandy made 4 wins before a down was played. No one knew it earlier, but UF falling apart was the fifth. Qualifying for a bowl was a matter of bearing Auburn. While a good accomplishment, I'm not sure it qualifies as a "no one else could have done it" type of thing.

We played the schedule. You could also argue we could have had eight wins but we played crappy against two east division rivals. We are still going to be up and down for another year IMO but we are now on our way and Shane, Stepp and Gray have something to sell now.

Agree on the schedule. There could have been more or less wins had the ball bounced differently, Agreed.

My comment was to the notion that no one else could have gotten the team to a bowl this year.

I'm not saying the coaching staff does not to be tweaked. Probably does. Satterfield is still suspect if the rumors about him are true-that he is hard headed and doesn't get along.

But by and large seems like a good staff. Now it's time to go get the Jimmys and the Joes.

Haven't you been keeping up with all the posts? Easy answer - Jamey Chadwell!!!!! He would have gotten at least 9 wins and turned us into a top 15 offense. He most likely would have gotten us to Atlanta.

Absolute BS. He couldn’t beat GA State at home. He wouldn’t get 5 wins much less 9

The year should absolutely should start out that way. After the start, improvement is a must during the year... even if just a little. Not just the players but the coaches as well. They have clearly done that. He is well on his way to earning a full stadium
The students and the Gamecock fans in the west lower and 300 seat sections was full and stayed the whole game yesterday

Lmfao!🙄🤔🤣😂🤣😂

The Jb and Goldwater show yesterday pretty much brought up this, about the fans/board . The 1st half of the show was pretty entertaining.even our on Wes was laughing pretty hard.

Apologize, I missed reading it that way, u know we have many in house Chadwell walks on water fans

Ha. While I don't think he walks on water, I can appreciate the job he's done (at multiple stops). It's possible there's more than one good coach out there, so I hate to see people tear him down just because they like another coach.

He does seem to be a great coach. Andy Staples wrote a great article about him in the Athletic this morning that I enjoyed. I hope he does well wherever he gets his first "big" job. I just got tired of seeing every week so many posts saying Chadwell would have been better than Beamer, no matter what happened during the prior game.

What would fans be without extreme overreactions? 😀

Ridiculous. I've already explained this to you. There are no "patsies" that are guaranteed wins for a program in our situation, or a lot of programs even better than us. Vandy beat Spurrier twice in a row, and that was a couple of years into his coaching tenure. In 2012, when we won 11 games, we had to come from behind in the 4th to beat Vandy by 4 points. If you don't show up against some of those teams, you can easily lose one or more of those games. Ask FSU and Miss St. Those 4 team were in no way a win "before a down was played", especially consider the mess from Muschamp and all the injuries. Beamer gets a lot of credit for keeping things together and winning all 4 of those games.

That vandy team beating spurrier 15 years ago has nothing to do with this year's team. And they don't have Johnson coaching there anymore.

They are a patsy. They are not good, at all. The 3 ooc teams are the same. They are patsies, added to the schedule to pad the win total.

Eastern Illinois is 1-10, vandy is 2-9, Troy has a losing record even in their little league. The best argument is for ecu who is 7-4 in a G5 conference and lost to the only P5 team they played.

I get the need to pretend those wins are some huge accomplishment, but in reality, they are not.

Stop lying. Nobody is pretending those wins are some "huge accomplishment". Not sure why you feel the need to misrepresent things which over-the-top, drama-queen rhetoric. NOBODY said that.

But ask Mississippi St about those default wins that you consider automatic. Ask Florida St. Considering the mess that Muschamp left and the injuries at critical positions, we very easily could have dropped a game or two, but Beamer got it done. And he absolutely deserves credit for that.

I will not miss home games.
I particularly enjoy being there with people that want to be there. Friends & family are cool(maybe that’s just how I was raised).

if this isn’t your thing ok, I don’t understand repeating it & posting it over and over, hard to figure out what it actually adds. (Maybe I wasn’t raised that way)

Many on here predicted Troy and ECU as Toss-ups. ECU looks to be a decent team, the others not so much.
