He hasn't been having much fun on the golf course. Trying now to qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour at 44 years of age. Probably hoping he can be relevant and good enough to play the senior tour. But looking at it honestly, he had a nice run with one of the ugliest swings ever seen on tour.
Sounds to me he was penalized a stroke or two. That driver and putter will get you in trouble every time.
I played with him back in the day in Marion, SC... Invitational.. I forgot the name of the course..... Very nice fella... He was a good old country boy.... It kinda pisses me off that the sheriff only showed his picture and was making jokes about it....
He is a jerk. I volunteered at a low level professional golf tourney in Cola about 10 years ago in which he was playing. I was in charge of handing the players their score cards and making sure everyone exchanged cards. Tommy asked if I had any sunscreen. I told him no. He went on a rant and stormed off like a two year old stomping his feet. True story.
He's always been nothing but nice to me.... I know the players like him too..... He may have had a bad day or something... But jerk is not the word I think of when you know Tommy
A guy needs a little relaxation after hitting 200-300 balls every day.
