Tonight's UK BB game thread...

Understatement of the year coming up......
We need a WIN!

Come on Carolina.
Go Cocks!

I watched approx 1 minute. 3 bad shots and an offensive foul. Found a movie to watch.

Well that was short lived
We do have 15 offensive rebounds to their 4 but when you are 19 for 55 in shooting then there are plenty of opportunities

Don’t enjoy watching this at all. Looks like a playground pickup game(both teams). Much rather watch Dawn’s girls.

SC did not lose by much

.....but that Auburn vs Arkansas game was pure fire. You can bet all the ranked teams in the world, but Conference play will get you every time.
I thought the Auburn/UK game about 10 days ago, won by Auburn at Auburn, was one of the most athletic games I've seen in years.

What bothers me most about this team:

Keyshawn Bryant has regressed in literally every category. He literally had better stats as a Freshman then as a senior.

Couisnard has gotten better from long range but has regressed from the FT line.

There is no clear evidence of player development or improvement in our most experienced players.

Ky is better. We fought hard. Frank has to go at end of year. His ranting is not coaching. He puts Branden in for 6-8 minute stretches and he cant shoot, pass, dribble, jump or play d. He does it every game. You will see like Branden and Woodley orBranden and Minot together for long stretches. we have no chance of scoring. He did it again tonight with Woodley and Branden. We were in a 6 point game and 5 minutes later we are down 13. Happened twice. Happens every game. Branden did not start at upstate…how out classed is he in the SEC?

I am sure he is a great young man….but it appears like Frank is intentionally sabotaging the game. He is more interested at raging at other players than coaching. He has our team so beat downand lacking confidence by years end every year. Our roster turns over annually. Enough. Sick of the clown show. We have enough talent to make the tourney…but not with Frank. His shitty sub patterns have cost us numerous games. His nepotism is staggering right now. We have 10 players who should play, and only 10. Carter, Carter, Leveque, Reese, Bryant, Wilson, Jermaine, Stevenson, Wright, Gray and sometimes Woodley. No one else. But you have to play certain players together and certain player combos not together.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Ugh, don't remind me. Injuries killed us that night. If UK is healthy, Sweaty Bruce isn't gonna want any part of the Cats in the SEC Tournament.

SC played with a lot of grit tonight. I thought before the game that UK might have a cakewalk tonight. But, you guys just don't let that happen in Columbia.

Well aware but I’m talking about the season, not one game within it. Couisnard was pretty good as well but they literally are contributing nothing more to this team than they were in the past statistically in most categories. With Bryant his stats are down across the board.

Ask Frank. You can't improve statistically from the bench. Both Cousinard and Bryant have spent large portions of games on the bench.

Frank certainly shoulders some of the blame. Couisnard got hurt so I get some of that. Bryant can’t stay out of his own way this season between foul trouble, injury and suspension. There’s plenty of blame to go around, but I concede these guys should have played more minutes and it might be the difference in a few wins and that would be huge right now.
