Top Golf at the Williams Brice

Friday for me. I did it as a Christmas present for my dad. I’ve never done Top Golf, but I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun at their facilities. I hope it translates well to the stadium. And I just got an email - don’t bring your clubs! (Bag rules for stadiums, I guess). But don’t forget your glove if it lives in your bag.

The novelty aspect was fun. Looking at the video board and city in the background was pretty cool.
Personally, the link in the email wouldn’t work for pre paid parking and you have to pay at the ticket office to get a barcode to scan to park. The tracking wasn’t registering correctly at the time I went today either. Some shots wouldn’t track and then all of a sudden 3 would show up. My best shot of the day was all over the farthest pin and registered for the next guy. He got 200 points for it and ended up on the leaderboard haha.
All in all still fun, neat experience and glad I had the opportunity to participate.

We went Friday. Maybe it’s because we were in the center bays, but we didn’t have any trouble at all with tracking. Every shot seemed correct to us. I did it as a Christmas present for my long time Gamecock dad, and we had a lot of fun. My brother, the best golfer of the bunch, had the best score of our hour and best score of the day. But we were early in the day. He noted that the “clubhouse leader” rarely wins after the final groups come through, lol.
It was worth it as a novelty, fun experience. I suspect the real top golf facilities track more accurately.
