When reviewing the Wooden award ballot for this season I just had to smile at the fact that Malik Monk is the only SEC player on this list. He's not even the best player in his conference! This proves a sad fact once again that the national media only watches UK play in the SEC. How sad. Hopefully the SEC media gets it right next week and gives the POY to the actual "best" player in the SEC . . . Sindarius Thornwell.
