UConn can't possibly shoot any better. Our offense needs to be more aggressive. Reminds me of the football team looking to the sideline for the play.

This. Our typical offense consists of working the ball around the perimeter until we can make an entry pass. Can't do that here. Also, our guard are going to have to create off the dribble. That means drive and kick or drive and stop. You have to create high-percentage shots.

It's not just about conditioning. They play a lot of man defense. That wears on teams when they don't play a lot of players. At this point, we play 10, and they play 7.

That usually makes a difference if the game is close. USC needs to trim this lead down some and strike late.

We don't have the shooters to pull them out of the lane. Doesn't help having the bigs if 5 people are packed in the lane.

Unfortunately, its playing out as I expected. UConn plays at a different level than any other team. I hate playing like this on the big stage.

UConn just has a lot of primo scorers. That is the only difference I see. They aren't killing us in the paint or turnovers or anything. We aren't shooting badly, just badly compared to THEM. They scored 47 points on one of the top 1-3 defenses.

USC made 1 of 10 shots from the 12 minute mark to the 4 minute mark of the first half. in that same time, UCT made 4 three-point field goals, a two point goal and two free throws and a conventional 3 pt play.

Agree. They are shooting very well, so we aren't getting any transition baskets. In the half-court, their defense isn't outstanding; however, they do have the luxury of packing the paint.
