Very Bad accident from 26-east this morning

Can't really find a good updates, but a few folks went to the hospital..

After seeing pictures, I would be surprised if someone didn't die from that accident... That was a horrible accident... And these folks were on their way to work..
I saw the emergency vehicles and a huge plume of smoak while traveling on !-20 / I26 to the airport. I figured it was an accident of some sort. Hope all are safe.
From what the trooper on the radio said a little while ago, no one died. Miraculous! I hope the ones in the hospital are OK very soon. Scary stuff that. 
We left Newberry today for Sumter at 12:00. The traffic jam was terrible, as it took us an extra 2 hours to get to Sumter. We are at Tuomey hospital now waiting for our first grandchild to be born.

A friend was in it. Was able to get out of his car just before the inferno. Friends were awakened by the explosion.
Also it wasn't just the cars melting to the pavement, the pavement itself melted from the heat of the fire. Trees are having to be removed that caught fire so they don't fall on Jamil Road and/or the interstate. The pictures are wild to look at.
It's amazing that no one died. A dog that was in one of the cars is now missing (ran off after the wreck).

I'm glad the dog ran off instead of being trapped in the car...
Hope they find the dog.
Tell ya what though, when I saw this...
I couldn't help but think of the possibilities at the Fireworks store that's in the background of this one...
I know, I know, that building is a good 100+/- yards behind the physical scene of the wreck, but still - I wonder if they felt any heat in that building?? And can you imagine the show that would have put on and all the news Columbia would have made what with Hillarity here today as well???
Oh, and I'm glad the dog made it out as well, but I hope they find him/her.

The fore actually spread across the interstate toward the building, which is why they stationed fire trucks in front of it

Good observation on the firework building!!!
A realtor that my wife and I went house searching with was in that wreck. Broken bones but out of surgery and recovering. Absolutely the work of God that no one died.
I read on social media last night that the dog had been found.

I've seen conflicting reports, myself. I know many were mistaking the post about her being lost as that someone had found her. But if she's been found, that is great. I know some posts directed the owner to Pawmetto Lifeline as they reported some dogs being brought in that had been scared by the explosion , and run away from homes nearby.
I saw in one of the pictures that the Firework warehouse was across from where the tanker was. if the fire reached that place, boy that'd have been crazy.
Well that stinks. Last night someone posted on a news media's social media page that their friend had found the dog and was looking for the owner. Phone numbers were exchanged. Not the dog people were looking for or a hoax? Either way, I hate to hear that. Hope they find her.
