Spoilers if you are waiting to watch the replay tonight.

USA beat France 93-82 to finish group play undefeated. A'ja Wilson led USA with 22 points and tied for the team-high with 7 rebounds. She also had 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block. The Americans really struggled to put France away, and for the second straight game the perimeter defense was atrocious. But with the game on the line in the fourth quarter they leaned on Wilson (with a big assist from Tina Charles). She has now led USA in scoring in all three games and is second on the team in rebounds. And finally people are starting to notice.

The bad news is that because France was able to hang around, Canada was eliminated. Both countries finished 1-2 in group play, so advancing came down to point differential. France had to keep the loss under 14 to advance. Laeticia Amihere finished her first Olympics averaging 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game. She had 10 points and 6 rebounds in what turned out to be Canada's final game.

Edit: Canada is actually still alive. They need a favorable outcome in the Puerto Rico-Australia game. It's confusing.
Edit 2: Canada has now been eliminated for real. I think.
