WBB recruiting.....who are we getting and who are we after?

I guess we really have to guess what is on Staley's plate as far as next years recruits go. I know we have a Canadian girl coming on board but does anyone really follow recruiting outside of ESPNW ? The State nor any other media locally ever mentions anything about women's basketball recruiting. If anyone knows anything, please share. I know we are in the final 10 for the No.1 recruit for 2016, Lauren Cox but so is UCONN, Tennessee,Baylor and other top programs. In the top 100 on ESPN for 2015....we got zero.....everyone else has plenty.....

Only have 2 more to give unless someone jumps ship. The needs are a shooting guard and a tough rebounder, scorer. The present team has major talent already.

The future certainly looks bright, but like in any sport, you've gotta continue to recruit, recruit, recruit. That's how you stay on top year after year. I hope we can keep it going and avoid any setbacks. It shouldn't be that difficult to sell the program especially now.

#1 Lauren Cox in the 2016 high school rankings may want to stay in Texas,maybe Baylor . Cox's mother played for SMU and she goes to a lot of SMU games. The trouble is SMU is not really that competitive and Cox would probably want to be surrounded by very highly ranked players like the top 10 girls' teams to have any chance at a final four. Baylor ,Texas ,SMU (outside chance ),and even Oklahoma( who has a 6'9" recruit) lead and if she decides to attend college away from home ; my guess would be UConn ( who is pulling out all stops to recruit her )

I agree SC needs a couple of top flight guards.

Shay Colley is the number 1 point guard out of Canada this year, starts for their Jr. National Team and I think she's their top scorer. Also, Doniyah Cliney was redshirted this year, so we already have 2 freshmen for next season. I think Dawn will sign 1 more.
