The thing that concerns me about this game is that Vandy is younger, less-talented and (fill in the excuse we would usually use) than us. We aren't getting any better.
Has Sindarious digressed. No wants to take charge when things start going wrong.

If you ever played basketball then you know this is all coaching. You have a big man down low that gets the ball in great position and then throw up weak shots......that is coaching. You have perimeter players that throw lazy passes from bad angles over and over again.....that is coaching. You have a head coach that feels the only way to get his point across is to scream and embarrass his players....that is bad coaching. If you need to scream to get your point across then you aren't a very good teacher and Martin is the worst. When you have a 12 point lead in the second half and lose by 15 then there is problems all over the place. There isn't an offensive player on this team but to drop a lead like that is just inexcusable!
The guy has been a successful coach for years. His players have improved under him but there are just too many that will never be good enough to help us compete no matter how much they improve. Thornwell is a good player, but he is a small forward playing guard. Notice is not really a point guard. He is too big and too slow. Johnson is a smooth player but he doesn't really seem to have quite enough speed to beat defenders consistently either. Chatkevicous is possibly the slowest moving basketball player I have ever seen in my life. Carrera. is a 6'5 Small forward trying to be a power forward. Henry is our other Center and he is skinny and weak and clumsy and he is slow though not as slow as Chat. Kacinas, is a nice player that has improved his athleticism and shooting but he is still not as athletic as his competition just about every night. Steele is a walkon. He is pretty awful actually and embarrassing that he is even good enough to get playing time over guys like Theus. We got Stroman this year. That is about the real MEANINGFUL improvement on this team, but it is improvement. I don't care how bad this team team is, I KNOW this man can coach. He has proven it. So I'll give him one more year to try to get a few more real d*** basketball players here and see if he can win with them. We need to be solidly in the NIT though or we need to go look for someone else.

I say fire him at the end of the season... 3rd season and we are still bad...
the basketball program does not deserve this debacle that Martin has caused... He has taken an elite program for the last 40 years and relegated it to the current status....shame on him

Team looked pretty good in the first half. They lost due to their end of game shooting slump and lack of rebounds. Not sure how you explain that. Lack of confidence, expecting to lose or opponent ending stronger?

No, we don't need to make a coaching change. Calling for a proven coach to be fired after 3 years is insane. It takes time to turn around a team that was run downhill by the previous staff. We have help on the way next season and we will actually have experience next year.
Frank isn't going to get fired this year, so many of you can quit hoping for it. But let's say just for fantasy sake that he did get fired. Who are you going to hire? It is a well proven fact that it seemed that back channel, and even official, overtures were made to just about every coach with a winning record before they hired both Odom, and Horn. Frank supposedly didn't get along with his administration at KSU and that is why he came here. Or maybe the above poster is right, and once he started losing the previous coaches players he felt he better get out of dodge before he was exposed. Regardless, I think Frank has to show significant improvement next year, or that may be that. But at that point who will take the job? You either settle for a Tubby Smith before he gets run at Texas Tech, or take a chance on some unknown and risk another Horn type era.
FM needs to show major improvement next yr, Ty is the only Senior we lose, so in FM's 4th yr this team needs to be in some kind of postseason play. If not, bye bye.
