Well, our Poor

True. Lots of people don't realize this, but the average age of a car on the road today is almost 13 years old. That's the AVERAGE. Meaning, there are a bunch of cars on the road much old than that. Little chance that happens with EVs unless battery technology significantly improves or gets a LOT cheaper. And I've been hearing prices are going to come down, but I've been hearing the same replacement price of $20k for the last 10 years. If the battery fails on an EVs today and it's out of warranty, which is usually 8 years, you might as well junk it.
Wait till the disposal fees kick in. These are going yo be a huge toxic waste issue going forward.

Without a doubt, long term, the Camry will be a better overall value. Most people don't think long term with a car anymore. At about 10 years, EVs will be worthless because most people buying know the battery is near it's end of life. And the batteries are EXPENSIVE. A replacement battery for my car is $20k. Nobody is going to put that kind of money in a 10 year old car. And don't get me started on depreciation. The combination of Elon lowering prices and normal EV deprecation has tanked the value of my car. But I knew that going in and will definitely still order a new one in a year or two when there is a rumored major update. But that is for a performance toy. My daily driver and long trip vehicles will still be ICE automobiles going forward.
I sold electric powered forklifts for 35 years. Now I buy them for clients. The last 8-10 most have been equipped with Li Ion batteries. In many cases, the battery cost as much as the forklift. The value of the forklift after 5 years is basically scrap value because of the battery situation.

There are many accounts of African leaders saying this exact thing about USAID now that it's been exposed.

All of the virtue signaling over the years ("We Feed The Poor') was completely divorced from reality.

The Democratic Party was full of crap -- not virtue.

----------------------

"It was ALL a lie. The real reason USAID was in Africa.

"Former African Union Ambassador to the United States, Arikana Chihombori-Quao:

“They're using that open access, sounding humanitarian, to constantly destabilize governments”

“We need to understand the real reason why USAID is in Africa, and not just USAID, but other NGOs They are coming in claiming that they're introducing grassroots initiatives that are going to help the people, and so they use that as a way to go into the most remote parts of Africa. When you look at it on paper, it all looks really good, but they're actually wolf in sheep's clothing.”

“The American taxpayer needs to know the billions of dollars that are being given to USAID. A fraction is making it to the people”

“They're using that open access sounding humanitarian to constantly destabilize governments. I can tell you right now, the majority of African leaders, and not just African leaders, but leaders in the developing world are celebrating the exit of USAID.

'If you think about it, their sole purpose, for example, filling in the gaps in healthcare and education, where is the change? Show me one country that USAID was in and education improved. Show me what country where USAID was in and healthcare improved?”

They laundered our money."

@DeeDave it's wild this guy believes every conspiracy theory under the sun, but conveniently doesn't believe the story where the website obtained an actual invitation to the dinners and the president's official schedule confirmed his appearance.
I haven't even seen his posts. He's too nutty to read. Do yourself a favor and put him on ignore.

This is legitimately scary if this is what it takes to influence American foreign policy.
Trump likes anyone that likes him. It's like a child's personality. Doesn't matter who it is or what they do. Putin and everyone else knows this well.

Remember, his own niece has said he's been like this his entire life and his late sister said he was a liar and was always a huge phoney and easily manipulated.

I've seen posters call you far worse than "Gomer" on this site many times over.

You started ignoring me exactly when I started posted your own words/lies to highlight your Pathological nature.

You couldn't handle being called out based on what you said. :)

I think the market will be good about late summer for buying excavators, bucket trucks, brush trailers, cutting equipment, etc.. A lot of folks bought this type of equipment to clean up after Helene and make some money and after the big cleanup is about over, some of this stuff is bound to go back on the market.

Political Actors.

The hits just keep on coming.

Legacy Media sure did a number on their viewers making their party appear legit for as long as they did.

However, if you haven't been able to figure out the game after the last 4 years, there's something wrong at this point.

Hard to know. I deal with a lot of contractors. Most are just sitting things out right now. They are busy. But they don't seem to know what later this year or next year will look like. I don't hear any of them saying they are spending much money. Time will tell.

Check JD Vance's Twitter account for reference.

I'm still waiting on one win from you. It's been 4 years and you've been consistently wrong about everything.

That's hard to do. :)
