I was wondering the same thing.do you get a bigger share the further you advance?
What does SEC GET?
Per that article with a payout of $260, 525 per unit (game played), we'd bring in $1,302,625 to the conference.I was wondering the same thing.
Found this:

So ~8 million to the SEC? Or ~8 million minus USC cost to go?
We got ours today from Palmetto Moon. They were just going on the shelves.many sites have already partially sold out of USC Final Four gear.

That may be our contribution, but the conference benefits collectively from all the games. By my calculations, with our game Saturday night, the SEC's 5 tournament teams will have played 16 tournament games (15 if Florida and South Carolina have to count their game against each other as one game). By comparison, the ACC's 9 teams will have 18 games when UNC tips off Saturday night. The SEC got a pretty good return on its 5-team investment.Per that article with a payout of $260, 525 per unit (game played), we'd bring in $1,302,625 to the conference.
