--Comes in talking about playing sloppy. And said a lot came from Keyshawn's injury, Kotsar and Couisnard missing practice and practice energy dipped. Said they weren't "remotely close" to what they were energy wise the last week of practice compared to the start.

Said no one put up a fight defending the ball outside of Trae Hannibal.

--Wildens Leveque tripped and had a "pretty nasty fall" in practice. His big toe was swollen. No damage on it and was cleared to play but he didn't feel like putting him in would be a good idea. Said with the game flow it would have put him in a bad spot.

--Justin Minaya has a positive voice and enthusiasm. Said because he seems to carry that into games he affected things positively today. He played a lot at the four because they couldn't defend the ball. Said he had more rebounds than any other big combined, which is disheartening. He's one of the more productive in a game.

--Said UNA is a hard team to play against, especially when they weren't up to snuff. UNA pressures everything and trapped, which is hard to go against when you're not playing up to your ability.

"Our post presence was never in play." Said it came on late with Alanzo Frink a little bit, but he needs to make his free throws. Said he expected Kotsar to be "really bad" after missing practice and a bad practice Tuesday.

--Martin said he his team had no fight to start the game and he had some choice words as the half ended. He was pleased they rebounded better as the game went on, especially in the second half.

"Our whole disposition wasn't good going into this game."

--Minaya practiced at the four a little bit with Kotsar out. With experienced guys like him, he can do that on the fly. Said him playing there might be a "gut feel" based on the game flow and the opponent.

--Jalyn McCreary reminds Martin of Chris Silva as a freshman. He's a "great kid" and needs to learn the system more. Said he's calling him every day to do extra work. Said he knows the freshman will get better but needs to continue to play with more fire.

"He's an instinctive basketball player but this team wants you to dribble the ball 80 feet, and he did that...He's going to help us win games."

--Frank Martin said he wants his team to play with the same aggression and relentlessness that UNA played with. Said it's a reflection of Tony Pujol.

"They're going to win a lot of games."

--Said Trae Hannibal is really good but needs to play better in structure. Said he's still improving and the best part about this team is he has some "good dudes" on it.

--Said AJ Lawson was "too laid back" and he got thrown around a little bit because of that mindset and wasn't prepared to deal with that aggression. He's not worried about AJ Lawson and he "needs to learn from it."

He didn't play with the same aggression he normally has.

--Wasn't happy in the locker room, but said the emotions have to be tied to preparing and not winning/losing. Said they're not there yet but getting there. He's been happy with the team the first five weeks but the last five days they've been bad in terms of their mindset. They didn't "control the things we could control."
