--Gives congrats to a shorthanded Missouri team. Said they played well enough to win but it's a "bottom line business." Did say he's proud of the guys and the coaches for the fight they showed Saturday and how they faced adversity.

"There wasn't any quit in this team...I can't say enough about our defense." Said the defense did well even with Missouri getting plus field position.

--Said there was some belief later in the game the players felt like they could win. Said that has to be there when they step on the field.

--Asked about making the change to Doty, said Shi Smith going down in the first drive changed their pass game a little bit and Missouri was getting good pressure on the quarterback. They wanted to play Doty more for more of a mobile option. Said they felt like his mobility helped. Joked it was a lot of backyard ball and running around like a chicken with his head cut off but he was calm doing it.

"I'll say this about Luke Doty: the moment was not too big for him."

--Shi Smith was ruled out after he went down. Still TBD on what his prognosis is. Was in the locker room postgame and seemed in good spirits. Too early to tell who the starter will be next week but Doty helped his case with his performance tonight.

--Said the team played with great energy all game and responded the right way after not responding well at times throughout the season.

--Asked about Connor Shaw's impact, said he's been a big mentor to Doty since Doty got to campus. Mentions those are the two guys who are mobile. They've had a "little bit of a bond."

--Always felt that Doty was the No. 2 quarterback there behind Hill. Said they were "locked in" and there was no doubt after watching practice this week.

--He "can't say enough" about the defense all game. Offense kept giving them short fields to defend but they played really well. Said to be able to hold those guys in the red zone at times to a field goal and a turnover speaks volumes.

"I'm really, really proud of those guys. Here's a unit everyone wrote off as dead...They're not dead. They showed some pride playing for that uniform. I was proud of that."

--ZaQuandre White is one of the team's better special teams players.

--It's been a tough week for those players. It's a tough situation for everybody with COVID going on and there's a lot of questions and then Muschamp got fired. Said life's all about responding to adversity.

--Asked about the last drive, said they went to a Cover 2 after playing man all game. Said Doty should have probably checked the ball down in that situation. They ran a dig concept and Missouri came under it. Said it'll be a learning experience for him. Said Doty should have checked down.

--Said receivers did a nice job tonight making contested catches compared to what it was in previous games. That's aided by Doty being able to extend some plays.

--Shi Smith went down. Bobo mentions Xavier Legette and Dakereon Joyner were both banged up.

--On playing Doty: "We're not real potent on offense right now. We're not. If someone loads the box on us, we got issues."

--Asked what he said to Doty after the interception, said he went over the play but reiterated how proud he was of him and the response he had responding and coming into the game.

"He looked like he belonged."

--Asked about the secondary, said in Tuesday's practice they said "this is who's here," and they didn't allow guys to make excuses about being thin back there. The challenge was to lock in and play fast. Tonight can only help build confidence of those guys.

"It's one thing to believe in yourself but it's another thing to get game day experience..I think those guys will play confident going forward."
