Mmmm, no; don’t agree with the T. Williams “inconsistent” quote attributed to Bobby Bentley. There were times his pass protection was shaky, but running the ball he consistently produced positive plays, significantly positive plays, only to be immediately subbed out and not seen again until several series later. His usage was maddeningly puzzling in my view.
Williams is a punishing back who needs to get lathered up to produce big numbers he needs to double his playing time this year.
Williams wasn't even the second best back on the team last year , and I doubt he'll be this year ... The coaches see him everyday and know what he can do ...he's a serviceable back
Coaches know Dowdle is the feature back and are motivating him to be the main back this year , I think Fenwick will over take Williams in the pecking order
