When everyone buys in to what you are selling, then changes start taking place. While Spurrier was living on three eleven win seasons and stomping Clemson five years in a row, Dabo was out there laying the foundation for the empire they have now built.
If we want to play with the upper tier teams moving forward, then BOT, AD, and Coaches MUST get together and say enough is enough. What we are doing isn't working (unless you call winning the Palmetto Cup a victory). Mimic what you see for the gameday atmosphere at Clemson or Georgia or insert the upper tier teams. Do the same thing, tweak what you want to to make it yours, but what they are doing is winning championships.
