Caine is another good one.Good call on Hackman. The best supporting actor of all time. Someone should really make a film for him to star in before he's gone.

Well, he is a habitual heel.I like Gene Hackman. He retired to the Santa Fe and the residents out there absolutely hate him.

I think Tom Hanks has to be at the top of my favorites for the depth and breadth of his roles. Least favorite Sean Penn. honorable mention favorite to Tyler Perry as Madea. Any 6'5 dude who can play a woman as convincingly and as funny as he is is a good actor
Hard to nail that down because I like so many moviesPaul Newman Most
Meryl Streep Least
I didn't realize until I looked at his Wikipedia entry he has been retired frim acting since 2004.He is 91 and retired from movies. Clint Eastwood is about to come out with yet another movie and he is in his 90s. I loved Newman, McQueen, Beatty, Nicholson, Brando and their movies in the 60s through the 80s. It was The time if the anti-hero.
These days I've moved on to Chris Pratt, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. I try to see all of their stuff.

Agreed…but I did like Cage in those National Treasure movies and The Rock with Sean Connery. My wife hates Willis but I like him as well.Cage has made so many crappy movies he must be a damaged product because he never gets major studio starring roles.
And Bruce Willis is not far behind him but I still like Bruce.
People probably wouldn't like me either if I was famous.People in Santa Fe can't stand him. He is unapproachable but puts himself out there. Probably just wants to be left alone.
Agreed. I think Tom Hanks is the Jimmy Stewart of this generation. They may not be the most versatile actors ever, but they both play the all-American everyman good-guy about as well as can be done. Most favorite would Jimmy Stewart (old timer) and Tom Hanks (current)
LOL. I said Jonah Hill. He and Rogen are basically interchangeable like the way Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid are interchangeable, though I don't consider Quaid and Costner two bad actors. My daughter calls them the "sad dad" actors.
Lord only knows how much I despite Hanoi Jane.I can't believe more people don't have Hanoi Jane Fonda as least favorite. Only was an actress because of her dad Henry Fonda who was a great actor. She was terrible. Anyone ever watch Barbarella? One of the worst acting jobs of all time. Henry carried her through On Golden Pond, and she still stunk it up.
Sorry, he does nothing for medude, if you think Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen are interchangeable, you need to watch more Jonah Hill movies. He was absolutely outstanding in “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Moneyball”. Probably deserved Oscars for both. Seth Rogen wouldn’t have pulled off either of those roles. Jonah Hill is an excellent actor who doesn’t get a ton of great roles because, honestly, he’s nothing to look at. But he’s a far better actor than Seth Rogen.
To be fair, not many were watching for the thespian component.I can't believe more people don't have Hanoi Jane Fonda as least favorite. And, you are correct regarding Roberts. She is a snobby b&^%$ and it shows.
So you haven't seen The French Connection? He stars in that movie and got the Best Actor Academy Award for his starring role.Good call on Hackman. The best supporting actor of all time. Someone should really make a film for him to star in before he's gone.
Both of those are superb actors.I tell ya another one is Timothy Olyphant . He seems to kinda play the same character in every show but I love pretty much every show he’s in . “Justified” and “Deadwood” were two of my all time favorites. Speaking of Justified another great under the radar actor is Walton Goggins . Anybody that can go from playing a badass hillbilly gangster to a transvestite hooker (Venus on Sons of Anarchy) is a pretty versatile actor .
He's OK. But he's definitely done some not so great movies. He was really good in Frailty and Dallas Buyer Club.I cannot stand Matthew McConaughey..very overrated.
Come to think of it, I did see it. And it was very good.So you haven't seen The French Connection? He stars in that movie and got the Best Actor Academy Award for his starring role.
You know Goggins is an excellent clogger, right? Grew up doing some form of river dance. A TV clip from him dancing and singing "Ain't Misbehaving". I crack up every time I hear the line "running through the house with a pickle in my mouth".I tell ya another one is Timothy Olyphant .
