If that’s the position he wants to play? The guy’s a great athlete. He doesn’t have to play RB. We need to sign this 5-star athlete.

We have told him we would let him play LB. he achieved his high ranking as a RB and that’s what Bentley recruited him for , but he knows we would let him play LB

Seems like he just doesn’t want to come here. He knows Muschamp would use him as a LB.

kinda like SC told Joyner he was going to be the starting QB at SC....

If Joyner wants the opportunity to make a living playing football, he should take notes from what Crouch is saying

Maybe or Maybe not. Crouch could be an elite RB and it’s why he is rated so high. Has nothing to do with Joyner

if you read Crouch , he wants to play LB and he is quoted as saying that position will allow on average to play longer in the NFL, hence making more money...and he is correct

and Joyner is an example of the same thing....he would do well to listen to Crouch and change positions if he desires to make a living playing football

Damn, grown men telling other people, that they've never met, what they should do with their lives. Some people think VERY highly of their own opinion.

see above..and Joyner can play college QB, get an education and apply for a good 9-5 job.....or

..... and last time i checked this is a forum with opinions

Joyner and Crouch are in two entirely different situations. We are stacked at Running back. Quarterback on the other hand, is a different story. we are lacking depth, experience and most importantly a dynamic player. Joyner provides us with all three. To say that he should change positions is not only premature, it also reeks of a bias.

Let Joyner have his opportunity to grow and learn just like the other Quarterbacks (whom are less talented by the way) have and let us see how this pans out.

Joyner will transfer in two years. We will ask him to play another position and then he will bolt to a team like SoMiss you watch. Just keep recruiting QBs. That’s him what happens at that position. Clemson will get it again next year with another guy leaving. Yes, it sucks for the kid but to be great you always have to have your options. Clemson stock piles them and half will leave but you will have the half that can play in the big 5 conferences.

You'e already sized up Joyner and decided how his career and life will play out. Lol.

not sure how his life will be, hopefully a happy successful life, he looks very athletic and i hope he realizes his potential for millions will only happen if he switches positions before he leaves SC.

if he doesnt want to change positions, fine, i hope he has a good career at QB for SC

This is a dumb post. No one here knows how much talent either player has compared to their NFL ability. They're still years from reaching their full potential. It's way too early to say either player can or can't make the league at a certain position.

Furthermore, no one here really knows what position our staff is recruiting Crouch to play. Sure we may see his greatest potential as a RB, but we may have agreed to take him as a LB as well. His comments were not that we hadn't offered him as a LB, just that we wanted him as a RB.

There is no way this staff would tell any play that they'd be the starting anything. An opoortunity to compete for early playing time is probably suggested, but no one is told they will be a starter.

Stacked at RB? An elite RB would start day one over any other RB we have.

If you’re going to start pointing dumbasses with dumbass opinions on this forum, prepare to be busy.

And just how do YOU know we aren't giving him the choice. Some documentation, please???
