Will all 14 SEC schools have to vote on OU and Texas to join SEC?

That would be crazy but I’m sure they have the money to make it happen in 2021 if they want to…LOL
Yep. Existing deals/contracts, etc can always be gotten out of. If you combine the cash of OU, Texas and the SEC, clearly they could make it happen. Especially nowadays where league schedules are usually only made one year at a time.

You know I'm right. The callous miscreants that have no regard for the things that made college football great are the worst beings to ever slither across the face of the Earth.

There are always those that are dragged kicking and screaming into the future.

Change is not always for the best. Sometimes the status quo is the better option. But, when the majority are dullards, all I can do is complain bitterly on FGF.

Yes, true. But don't discount the times that change is for the better. If folks in the SEC office had your same view back in the early 90s, South Carolina would have never been invited into the league and could still be wallowing in the miserable world of a college athletics independent.

I think a 12 team conference is the limit for being manageable, but even then the fans of SEC members may have had a point if they didn't like us and Arkansas coming in. My frustration is with the seeming lack of regard for the traditions of college football. We don't have an annual Pitt-WVU game or OU-Nebraska game anymore, but Nebraska sure gets to play Rutgers on a semi-regular basis. Things like that. It just doesn't affect football. A good basketball conference in the Big East was rurnt because of stuff like this. It already takes us the amount of time it takes Pluto to orbit the Sun to play everyone in the SEC now. When we're a 74 team conference we'll get to play future SEC member Utah State maybe twice in lifetime.

Anyway, I'm just agitated and bitter and want all of you to let me run college sports...at least football. Five minutes is all it would've required for me to fix any major issues with the sport, and if you give me 24 hours I would make 99% of fans happier than they've ever been. But, yeah, I hate Sankey and George Washington(because he's on the dollar that these vultures love so much) and the SCOTUS for spooking the NCAA into NIL and I hate the CFP and SEC refs that won't call holding against Georgia when we play them.

Maybe I do need some of that Xanax.

Those schools you mention could still play each other they just choose not to so not sure thats all due to realignment. When we joined the SEC, we could have decided not to play Clemson any longer due to our league game requirements but we didnt do that and still play them.

Lots of opinions about the NIL stuff but I really believe its about time players were able to at least see some of the financial benefit from the enormous revenue that is generated from their play on the field.

Now how the refs call against UGA....right there with ya.
