If Joe Brady was offered he would take it. Would he retain Kevin Steele or would Steele move on back to his High School State (Dillon) and take the DC job at Carolina? He would love to come back and put the skids to Clemson after being fired from there by Dabo. Steele could also bring in Chief Chavis to help out with the Defense. Chavis and Steele played High School Football together at Dillon and were best of friends. (Food For Thought)...

I don’t know of any sign that indicates Brady has interest in returning to college coaching. Everyone is saying he is primarily an NFL guy and does not want the hassle and BS of recruiting... He is also rumored as a candidate for HC at multiple NFL teams with jobs that may be available soon. I find it highly doubtful he is hired by Auburn.

According to the conspiracy theorists on this board, the AD and search committee are only targeting candidates that Carolina should have hired over Beamer. Auburn planned this immediately after getting information that Muschamp had been fired instead of going after the most qualified candidate available. Sources are indicating that Chadwell, Napier and Freeze will all be hired at Auburn to throw salt in the wounds of Gamecock fans that are against Beamer and Gamecocks Athletics and they will serve as a trifecta of HC’s.

Agreed Brady ain’t coming back to college . Wouldn’t surprise me if he were the next coach of the Texans or Falcons .

Teddy sucks tho so it's kinda hard to grade a guy when he has a QB scared to throw it past the sticks.

Agree . I was in Teddy’s corner early in the year but he’s not gonna get it done . Unfortunately he’s played just good enough to win enough games to miss out on Sunshine and Fields . Not sure the second tier QB’s are worth a top 10 pick . The defense has been god awful too . Chinn , Burns and Brown are future pro bowlers but the rest of the D can kick rocks .

I think the prohibitive favorite to take over on the Plains is Brother Freeze. The fact that Art Briles just resigned today as HC the Texas high school where he was coaching and is rumored to be the next man up at Liberty, makes me think that it will happen pretty quickly. I do question whether Freeze might be inclined to take the easier VT job, which may well opened up at midnight tonight (Fuente's buyout decreases by $2.5m at 12:00 am and their AD announced a Zoom press conference about football tomorrow without mentioning or including Fuente). I don't think Napier or Chadwell are going to be defensible given what the Barners are paying to get rid of Guster, and I don't think Sark would knife Saban in the back like that (if he leaves, I think it will be for Arizona).
