Come on people, I'm as big a fan of Wingo as anyone here, and I appreciate what he did in helping the team win 2 titles.

I was just pointing out that he made a mistake. We all do...being humans and all. And I have no doubt that Scott is great at working with the players and I hope he sticks with coaching and has a very successful career.

Not intended as harsh criticism...just an observation.

It's the coaches job to remind the baserunner to FREEZE on a line drive with less than 2 outs...It's the BASERUNNER's job to FREEZE!

I think Martin thought there was two outs instead of just one. I notice Wingo indicating how many outs there are quite a bit. It's the player's job to ask if he doesn't know.

We may never get there again and if it weren't for his gutsy performances we man never have. He gets a bye as an assistant!! This team has a LOT more problems than Scott's basecoaching imo!!
