Zion’s Mountain Dew commercial:

I go see preds a couple times a year. My bro has season tix, they are right down on the glass. Those guys, hockey players, go full out the entire time!!
And play through some pretty rough looking injuries. Get 3-4 teeth knocked out - might miss one game. No end zone dancing, antics, etc. You act stupid or run your mouth, the goon will get you next shift. Rarely is there a “play review.” The game constantly moves.

I've never watched a hockey game in person on any level. But, I've been told it's the most fun sport of all to watch in person.

This is one of the few commercials where I feel like we get to see what a professional athlete actually does at home: he’s sitting on his couch, playing video games, and drinking full calorie Mountain Dew. This explains his extra 50 lbs and lack of productivity.
Throw in some weed and you probably nailed it.

I've heard there are country stars who like to attend...I believe Carrie Underwood attends...and the married couple from Little Big Town who has mentioned them during an interview...

Little Big Town is my fav country group...

Zion is rumored to be in the 330 lb range. You don’t get there just bc of a broken foot and lack of exercise. It’s primarily a horrible diet. I’m surprised the team puts up with it. They should be monitoring and controlling every calorie that goes into his mouth.

Zion’s little league coach said Zion was the best football player he ever coached, and some of those kids went to the NFL. Maybe Zion should have stayed with football.

They do. And there are a lot of “pretty people” there. Sells out every game pretty much.

I could care less about Zion...means nothing to me...he did not sign with Carolina so I moved on....
He could gain 200lbs for all I care...

I don't watch pro sports...the college games are now about show-offs, put some $$ in my pocket type of guys/girls...

I watch SEC sports, HGTV, Shark Tank, Food Network...and that's about it...

The rest of my time is devoted to hiking, going to the gym, working to keep my business profitable and the occasional ETSU men's basketball games when Furman and Wofford come to town...that's it..(Traffic plays a big part in my decision making whether to drive to GSP or attend a basketball game)...
I no longer care about Zion as a basketball player since he did not pick USC. However, I hope he gets healthy and hope he manages his life well. I am not into a league of millionaires who get off on disrespecting their country.

Yeh..Nashville lots of $$$ floating around...not saying it's Hollywood of the south but you are right, lots of good looking people there...I get to Nashville about 1-2 times per year and have an absolute great time every time....IMO best large city in the south...just a great, great place.

On a side note: Nashville is expensive...just to park your vehicle in Nashville can cost a fortune...Housing prices are through the roof..

I would like to know who is disrespecting the country right now. There haven't been any national anthem demonstrations in almost a year in any professional league. You can't expect other people to move on from things if you can't. Just saying.

No, you have the right to do whatever you want. The point is that you can't expect people to forgive you for things you did not do or did in the past if you can't do the same. My point is what Jerry Jones said a year ago. Both sides have to learn to give each other a little grace. Otherwise, you are always fighting.

I certainly can move on. I can forgive, and I hope others can forgive me, for I am imperfect and often need forgiveness. I can deal with the anthem being played before the teams come out, so there are no prima donna public displays of disrespect. However, I cannot forget. I will try to watch any GAMECOCK who is playing in the league.

I cannot forget that LeBron is shilling for the Chinese and ignoring Chinese CCP human rights abuses and wanton spread of COVID which has resulted in unnecessary deaths. Also, the NBA takes Chinese money, and will not comment on the Chinese CCP human rights abuses.

That last statement you have no idea about. Has it ever occurred to you that Lebron is not getting in the Chinese-Hong Kong debate because he does not know the history of that issue and does not trust what our government says on it. If half the country doesn't trust our government about a vaccine, Lebron certainly can have some pause on the Hong Kong debate. I have studied the issue and personally think it is the UK's fault that Hong Kong is in the position they are in now. They turned over Hong Kong to China. So, China is no more obligated to make Hong Kong independent as we are to make Puerto Rico a state or an independent country. Personally, I believe we should stay out of it and I don't feel that way because I have some type of love for China or it's government.

Lebron has certainly spouted off too quickly in certain situations. The Columbus Ohio law enforcement shooting one big example of that. However, Kyle Rittenhouse is just a guy that did something stupid and was found not guilty. However, if he is some hero to you go right ahead. Personally, I think Child Investigative Services should have gotten involved with his parents. What type of parent takes their child into another state with a semi-automatic weapon in the powder keg that Kenosha was at the time. Like I said with the Hong Kong debate, some people need to mind their own business sometimes.

LOL, to Protect one of the businesses, the other was burnt to the Ground!! Jury was 100% correct.

It's not his businesses to protect and that is what we have police for. So, let's all go out and be vigilantes because we don't like how something is going somewhere. Technically, Kyle Rittenhouse is not guilty of what he was charged for and I would have defended him on that. Does not change the fact that I think he is an idiot.

I really don’t have a dog in the Rittenhouse debate, but what does a business belonging to someone have to do with their decision to help protect it? If my livelihood was in danger of being looted, burned, and I could get someone to help me protect it, I’d gladly accept it. (And Police?!? Are you kidding? We watched as police were ordered to abandon neighborhoods and allow total anarchy for more than 3 months)

We can't have everybody going out being vigilantes about things. We are getting sadly close to anarchy and that would be the last step. For example, I didn't like what was going on at the U.S. Capitol last year. So, I just go out there with my gun and help the Capitol Police. No thank you. Not going to sell me on that foolishness. That's one problem with people today. They think they can control everything themselves and all they do is make a bigger mess of things. People going out there with guns, no insurance, talking about they are helping. If someone burns my house or business down, I call my insurance agent and rebuild. I will protect what I have if I am around, but to go out in a mob talking about you are saving your business is nonsense.

When the mob starts to attack, it’s best to get out of sight. You’re not going to beat the enraged mob many times. Beat them in court.

If a mob actually burns down my house or business, then yeah, I’ll call my insurance agent and go from there. But, if instead of spending $2500 on my deductible and costing my family and myself countless months of inconvenience, I’d rather spend $80 on a few boxes of ammunition and kept what I have whole.
