When Muschamp Is Fired, Tanner Should Be Fired

Tanner was a heckuva baseball coach, but is in way over his head as an AD. He was played by agent Jimmy Sexton, and conned into hiring Muschamp, his fourth choice as coach. Then, he gives Muschamp a big raise and contract extension after a very mediocre season and getting boat raced in the bowl game last year, saying he did not want to worry about another team “poaching our coach.” Muschamp was maybe a good defensive coordinator, but is in way over his head as a head coach. He still doesn’t get offense, he’s a poor judge of coaching talent (promoting B Mac instead of hiring a proven OC), we rarely make half-time adjustments and still can’t tackle, and we have not beaten anyone who matters in 4 years. Ray owns this mistake, so whether Muschamp is fired after this year or next year, Tanner should be fired too. Let the new AD hire the next football coach.

IF they are going to go, Tanner needs to go first. You don't can both at the same time.
