Clemson looks like shit
NIL and the Transfer Portal does that. Don't like what college sports has become. The new normal. Massive turnover every year.
Also like Furrey as WR coach: has been a Head Coach and coached in the NFL. Blackwell can breathe; so that makes him an automatic upgrade from last season's RB coach. And though DeCamillis is Special Teams, not offense, I like his NFL experience.I agree with almost all of that. I'm not predicting 7-5 though. That will be tough.
I am also very interested in seeing what Shawn Elliott brings to the table. I think he has developed into a very good coach and I really like the hire. Also, a few weeks ago on the Game, I barely caught part of a discussion where someone, I think a player, was interviewed and made it sound like Elliott will have a much bigger part in the offense than just his titles suggested. Almost seemed like they were suggesting that he was more "the man" on offense than Loggains. Not sure how accurate that was, but it gives me some hope we will see some improvement.
Looking forward to seeing if we have any potential this year. I can't recall a season with so many unknowns.
They sold him on "we're a powerhouse again" and "our qb is one of the best in the country." The qb frankly stunk big time. Georgia Tech pushed FSU around. So you can see where he felt a bit deceived.No.
Not sure a kid that flips because of one game is one I'd think about much.
The problem is that a team like Texas or Georgia can't offer him the moon, because then other recruits and older players at similar positions get offended they are getting less. You have to raise everybody. In that sense, SC may have the advantage. SC may not be as concerned other d-linemen will bail or gripe because of a good offer to Wynn.I'm not sure what we could offer versus a Texas or UGA if either of those teams really wants him?
"You will see more playing time early" is a hook of the past.
