South Carolina baseball back at it today, playing two games at Auburn to wrap up the series with the weather looking bad down there tomorrow. Speaking of looking bad, South Carolina lost 24-2 yesterday. Here's the lineup for game one:

Both opened NCAA Tournament play this afternoon with 4-0 wins. The #13 overall seed men blanked VCU in Columbia and will play Florida State tomorrow at 10:00am.

The women shutout Kansas 4-0 and will play the winner of UNC/VCU tomorrow in Chapel Hill. Start time is TBA.

They open play today in the Charlottesville Regional. Golf's postseason is different, there are six predetermined regional sites (12 teams in each regional) with a total of 72 teams in the field. The Top 5 teams in each regional after 54 holes (3 days) will move on to the next round.

Each team has five players and their best four cumulative scores is the team score.

Ugly loss, but the better team and coach definitely won. Hats off to them. Glad to see Paige Bueckers go. Wonder if she will get the CC treatment in the W. Going forward. Who stays, who goes, who comes in? I bet there are so many coaches in MF ear telling her SC is wasting her talent. Wonder if she stays. What are the rumors of incoming players. We cannot win a NC without a post presence. Who is the next big that will help us move forward?

If the game goes ahead, it'll be Brandon Stone vs. Liam Peterson on the mound to start a series the Gators need and the Gamecocks would love to play spoiler for. There was a lot of speculation going around that Maddy McDaniel was entering the portal. She was not the player I thought entered but wanted to pass this along.
