South Carolina baseball is back from a brutal weekend at Arkansas, but the schedule is not getting any easier. Gamecocks take on UNC tonight in their annual mdiweek game in Charlotte agianst one of the toughest teams in the ACC. Regular closer Brendan Sweeneey is actually starting tonight after midweek starter Jarvsi Evans Jr. had to go on Sunday, so I imagine this will be a bullpen game. Here is the full lineup:

South Carolina women's basketball is on to the Sweet 16 for the 11th consecutive terounament after beating Indiana 64-53 at Colonial Life Arena. The Gamecocks trailed by eight points in the first half and were locked in a single-digit game for most of the fourth quarter, but found just enough offense down the stretch to overcome a poor first half and take care of the Hoosiers.

Gamecocks will look to avoid the sweep, or at least show some signs of life after losing the first two games by a combined 19 runs.
