A’Ja Wilson

I didn't extrapolate her comments to every white player. She didn't say that, and I didn't think it was fair to assume such a thing.

I never said nor or assumed it was about every white player. But she named white players and said they were pushed over the top because of their "privilege". She was clearly stating that they got "over the top" not because of their play, but because they are white.

Ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

Wilson is succumbing to the racist victimhood propaganda being shoveled by the Sharpton, CNN, and MSNBC racists.

I disagree with you. There is nothing more for me to say about the topic. It's very old at this point (these comments or a year old or close to it and beyond silly to still talk about at this point. It's just a few folks searching for something to be mad about). I just don't care if you like her comments or not. I didn't see any issue with her opinion.

Now, I am off to campus with family.

Then just explain what "privilege" she was talking about if she wasn't talking about their whiteness.

And this wasn't the first time she made similar comments. But like I said, it shouldn't be surprising. She learned about race whining from the best.

Again, and for the last time, her teammate appreciated what she was trying to say and said so. I think there is an intent on the board for some to either not be able to understand, or to not want to try.

"When the LV Aces star A’ja Wilson was six years old, she encountered a major turning point in her life.

Wilson had transferred from the Hopkins School to Heathwood Hall in South Carolina, which was known to be predominantly white. Nonetheless, Wilson soon found herself to be a part of the group. However, when the girls decided to have a sleepover in one of her friend’s homes, A'ja was told that she would have to sleep outside the house due to her friend’s father’s ideas about race mixing. This incident changed how Wilson looked at the world and the then-introvert A’ja realized she might be treated differently no matter what she did."
I doubt Plum was really thrilled to hear Aja say CC has privilege. I assume Plum had the same privilege. She prob nodded her head in agreement and gave a canned statement so not to bring attention to herself.

So Aja is racist because some azhle was racist. OK My friend went to one of our black friends (Maurice) house after school. Maurice dad came home so he shoved the white kid in the closet. True story. These things happen across the board. Always seems to be just one side the moans and complains about it the most. We actually thought it was funny.

[DeeDave] My third cousin twice removed was there and they were just playing a game of hide and seek. [/DeeDave]

How can someone go to a private school and then call someone else privileged? I never went to a private school. I went to public school where the majority of kids were black. My middle school was walking distance to a housing project(Pardue Street Apt) and down the road from old low income homes(FKA New Town) My parents weren't going to afford a private school. I took my lumps, literally, and moved on. Talk about hypocrite.
