Oh, that day did exist. But you're right about the internet. I'm sure there were always the kid of person that would question and doubt a winning coach after a bad season, but they wouldn't dare bring it up unless they were around friends or associates that they knew wouldn't ridicule them. But with the advent of the internet, I believe people's behaviors have become more like "that fan".
It's one thing to be curious, discuss and speculate about how long a coach will remain and what the future holds...but it's another to disrespect the greatest coach the team has ever had by questioning his ability, loyalty and integrity after achieving so much then hoping he leaves soon to suit yourself. Ignorance is bliss...but that is way beyond ignorance.
