Believe it or not but he did St. Louis Blues hockey play by play for channel 11 local broadcasts when I lived there in the late 70's and early 80's.

I’ve listened to bits of Bama games just to hear his voice again. Used to love hearing him on MRN. He’s one of the best.

I enjoy that on championship game night. I also enjoy the coaching panel discussing the game while it's going on. No announcers and no noise. Very good way to watch also.
