Syracuse +25.5 @Clemson
Hmmmm. This is a strange line.
Syracuse isn’t terrible. They might be good. This line is treating them like they are awful.
This pick is more about Cuse than Clemson.
Cuse has a senior QB, Eric Dungey, who can play. He averaging 200 yards passing and 90 rushing per game. 9/1 TD to INT ratio. He’s good. Cuse went 0-4 last year after Dungey got hurt.
They also have 2 RBs that can play. Cuse can score.
They put up 450 yards on Clem last year in what was a better Clemson D.
Clemson is starting the golden boy in his first game. He’s good, but surely this week has been trying with Bryant leaving the team. If things go south early, how will they respond? Lawrence won’t be perfect in his first start. If he is, god help us.
The game is at noon. We know how hard that is to get ready.
Syracuse played 4 tough road games last year with Dungey (and a weaker squad.)

Clemson will be out for revenge, and they obviously have a better team, but Dungey keeps it close late. Getting nearly 4 TD’s is strange when Clem only gave 15 to a terrible Ga Tech team last week.
