CFP is a joke

Everything outside the playoffs is meaningless in respect to who was and wasn't worthy of being in the playoffs. Too many players and even coaches out.

Lost to unranked teams. The first time that the playoffs have happened and it’s not perfect but have to start somewhere. They will be some adjustments I’m sure.

Needs to be like basketball where strength of schedule is considered. Bama's name got them in the discussion. Switch our results with Bama's results, and nobody would have been crying that we were left out. The same results would have been used to claim we didn't belong.

I doubt they fix it. They want to be able to manipulate it.

It’ll never be fixed. Pure corruption like everything else.

Yeah, beating Duke with their starting QB Maalik Murphy opting out definitely makes you playoff material. lol

Learn to read, retard. Winning their bowl lets them at least argue it. Our bowl made ourselves and Bamas arguments fall apart.

This is true. But losing the bowl makes the "we should have been in" argument look silly, regardless if the holdouts make it a moot point.

Wrong. Win or lose, it's irrelevant.

Bama/Ole Piss/South Carolina aren't the same teams they were during the season, and neither are their opponents.

LOL. You are a moron. You absolutely were arguing that.

You literally state that them winning a bowl against Duke with a second string QB "lets them at least argue it" and our bowl makes our argument "fall apart".

Meaningless bowls with missing players and staff are completely irrelevant to any playoff argument. Period.

You might be dumber than a howling monkey. Calling you a howling monkey might be an insult to howling monkeys. lol

Already covered this.

You're just such a crybaby woman, begging for attention, trying to start another argument where there is none.

You are pathetic.

LOL.

If you think meaningless bowl results "lets them at least argue it" and makes our "arguments fall apart", then you think meaningless bowl results are relevant. Not irrelevant.

Dumber than a stump, bless your heart.

If you weren't such a retarded woman, you'd realize that all the talk of "belonging" is meaningless too. Like you, at and away from the keyboard.

Our bowl was "meaningless" to people like you. (True fans were still cheering for us to win)

But losing the bowl makes any talk of "belonging" moot, no matter how meaningless that talk was to begin with.

I want to think you know this, and are just your usual desperate for attention. But I think you're actually this retarded.

No, our loss doesn't make anything moot. The results are total irrelevant. Different team and missing staff. Do you not know the meaning of irrelevant? lol

Nobody would have argued we belonged without our OC, the best defensive players in the nation, and our top running back. Probably wouldn't have even been in a bowl at all had that been the case all year.

Bad start to the year for you. Less than 11 hours in and you've already made yourself look dumber than last year. And that is really impressive, but you said some really dumb tater shit on here last year.

And there is no "us", tater troll. You and the other tater tot are giddy over the loss and couldn't wait to shit on the team just like you are doing now with the "we didn't belong" bullshit.

Not fooling anybody, tater POS.

No, our loss doesn't make anything moot.

Tell that to the people making those comments across the country. I know i heard announcers making those statements during games yesterday.

But is no surprise the little retarded woman wants to argue semantics of the word "meaningless", and if meaningless bowls impact meaningless talk of who should have been in the playoffs on meaningless message boards and Twitter, etc.

All just to beg for a little attention in that pathetic life of yours.

Ah yes, "you're a tater". Following the script, I see. Next up is a couple lame gorilla pictures, right?

Can you point to where I'm shitting on the team? Certainly you wouldn't be making g up lies again, just to have something to cry about.

Lmao

lol...no.

If us losing to #20 without our OC and several top players means we didn't belong, Ole Piss losing to 4-8 Kentucky at home with all their players certainly excludes them.
bless your heart....No

You act like we were the only one without top players out yesterday. They were missing their top offensive players and several others as well. Both Alabama (who obviously didnt belong) and Ole Miss (kicked our ass at home) had head to head wins over us. It not the only criiteria but it's a major one that requires less hypotheticals. Ole mIss has a worse loss but the best win and again whooped our ass at WB. So yes if there was an argument for those who didn't make it, it was Ole Miss.

Incorrect. Illinois was missing one KEY player. The receiver. We were missing our top running back and our OC. And the BEST defensive player in the entire nation. Either way, these games are irrelevant to who deserved to be in the playoff discussions. Just like beating unranked Duke with their second string QB will be for Ole Miss.

And if you don't believe a loss to a terrible team like Kentucky or Vanderbilt wouldn't exclude us from any discussion, you are crazy. The entire narrative about us would have been about the "bad loss" and if Bama had lost to us at home by 2 and won out, the entire narrative about them would be the loss was early and they are much better and "peaking" now. Same goes for Ole Miss, but probably to a lesser degree.

That WR was their best player on offense. When you start arguing better losses, your a loser. Ole miss beat our ass at home and had the best win against GA. It wouildnt have mattered if we would have made it, there are only about 4-5 teams that are good enough to win it all.You are the biggest homer on this site, and have always been. You can't see reality through your garnet colored glasses. You are the guy who always complains about the refs, you think the refs and committee have an agenda against USC. It's ok to look like an idiot to family and friends, but stop doing it in public forums.

Nope. Who you lose to has ALWAYS been a big part of the equation. And losing to Ole Miss/LSU/Bama is better than losing to Kentucky/LSU/Florida. Fact.

And losing their top receiver is nowhere close to losing your OC and your top running back. Not even comparable. And when you throw in losing the BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE NATION, you are just FLAT WRONG.

Not even close. Just losing the OC is enough to do most teams in.

Clemturd won the title in 2016-2017 because Kiffin was OC at Bama and bailed on them before that National Championship game. That is a HUGE disruption for an offense. Only game Bama lost that year.

lol So they have better wins, and stomped our ass BY 24 POINTS AT HOME. But to you, who you lost to is the only thing that matters? JFC what a weird/dumb hill to die on.

Thank god that guy wont be the OC next year since he was enough to do us in.

Very well said.

In all honesty, we have to really hope this is simply her internet persona.

Not when you look at the regular season results for all the Power 4 teams each played.

The combined records for the Power 4 teams we beat was better than the Power 4 teams Ole Miss beat. (58% vs 51%)
The combined records for the Power 4 teams that beat us was MUCH better than the Power 4 teams that beat Ole Miss. (72% vs 53%)

As a whole, we beat better teams and lost to better teams than Ole Piss.

I guess we have to go by those since we don't have the head to head to go on.

......Oh wait, they kicked our ass by 24 points at WB. Ole miss is the better team. Anyone with half a brain or an unreasonable complete homer agrees.

They were that day, but not when you look at the resume for the entire season. That's why nobody is claiming Vandy and Oklahoma are really better than Bama.

Yeah, if only we had some sort of measurement for the entire season, like an overall record or something.

Then we could measure total wins and losses before we moved on to head to head.
