I shouldn't have to get him recruited! That's the job of coaches and the head coach! Esp if the player is in your on state!
You can't take all 3? He can out shoot both of them! We need someone you can shoot the dang ball! He is one of the best shooters in the state!
There has to be a reason that he ended up at Upstate. How is his defense, assists/TO, rebounding, fouls, etc...?
Maybe he doesn't play defense worth a damn and if he doesn't then he wouldn't make it here...it's not all about offense.
Maybe there's a reason he had no major offers and only got them from smaller schools.
Just because he's your buddy or a family member doesn't mean he's Power 5 conference material.

Avg 40 ppg, 14, Reb 3, assist 3 steals! My only guess is he plays at a smaller school! Plus, he did sign early with upstate so he never gave himself a chance to be recruited by top 5 conference this year! Upstate got a steal! Ask anyone who has watched him play! If

Well if he's good enough then he'll have the opportunity to transfer to a larger school to show his stuff on a larger stage. There were something like 300 transfers last year (and there are already 50 or so midseason transfers this season). If he's all that's advertised then I hope he gets his shot.
I'm sure he's good as you say, but why would you be upset with Frank Martin if what I've highlighted is true?
He is a really good player at a small school. Dominates against his competition and made a good choice with USC Upstate. No other big school offered him which should tell you alot. If Martin missed on him then couldn't you say the same about every big school that didn't offer?
To be fair, kids can slip through the cracks. Steph Curry's best offers were from Winthrop, Davidson and VCU (before VCU was VCU).
Very true Todd!!! He will have a good career at Upstate! He is the third ranked player Behind dozier and Mack! He does play against lesser competition! Watch him played at the dorman classic he was the leading scorer of the tournament all against big 4a teams! Would probably win player of the year in sc if his team was better!
