I don’t see the point in firing him unless they have someone on staff that hasHC potential.I'm thinking No. Man, we dodged a bullet when he decided he was too good to take the job here.
Which is worse situation-UF or FSU?
That's a tough one, but probably FSU. Going from an undefeated regular season to 0-3 in a loss to Memphis at home is pretty bad. Not sure what he saw in Uiagalelei.
Last season buys Norvell more time; that and 65 million other reasons. Napier is done.Which is worse situation-UF or FSU?
Yeah, pulling the trigger early and often has really worked out for Florida.
The only difference is Florida can probably pull a big hire from another p5 school. We couldn't even get Napier to leave Louisiana to come here.

Aren’t we 0-2 against him?
Teams with significantly more talent usually do win.
Ah. So Beamer can't beat teams with more talent.
Our schedule was still brutal without those teams. So we replaced them with Bama and Ole Miss. We can play with UT. We would have had them at home too this year. Napier did get it turned around at UF. They probably would have beaten UGA if Lagway plays the whole game. Now Napier has beaten both LSU and Ole Miss.
We are very lucky to have avoided UF and UT this year on the schedule.

He was targeted receiver on last two picks. First one was just overthrown.Wells had a terrible game. Targeted a bunch of times and had one catch. I think he ran the wrong route on that last play too that ended the game with an INT.

Whatever. Replace with LSU and Ole Miss. Still tough matchups was my point.Weren't we going to play Bama anyway on the rotation?
Regardless, Napier certainly has done an admirable job with his injuries and with that schedule.

Funny how injuries and schedule are an excuse for Napier, but not for Beamer.
You guys used the injuries excuse a lot last season.
Because it's a reason, not an excuse. Napier has done well to salvage the season considering both the injuries and the schedule. Of course, he has a lot of talent to work with, so that helps. He's not pulling a grad assistant off the sidelines to play QB.
Out of curiosity, why do you spend so much time on this site? Most of your posts come across like you're miserable.Beamer had a grad assistant last season at QB when he went 5-7?
Can we get an update on whether or not we were lucky Napier thought he was too good for us?

Yes, we are lucky Napier thought he was too good for us. If he is struggling to get to 6 or 7 wins with Florida talent, he sure ain't winning here. And he went 5-7 last year too. Again, with Florida talent.
Good job by him turning the season around.
Or maybe he just took over a worse situation than Beamer?
I'm more than coming around on him, I'm all in with him being the head coach. At Florida.
I was never wrong.
