So he's 2-0 all time against Beamer and UF has a better record than us against common opponents, but they're in misery?

South Carolina and Florida both have top 10 schedules. Florida's is a little tougher. Army had somewhere around the 90th toughest schedule, so comparing their 9 wins to our 8 wins or Florida's 6 win is stupid.
But let's not forget, Florida has FAR more talent than South Carolina. Almost TWICE as many 4 star players. Beamer has definitely done WAY more with less than Napier. And it's not even close.
ESPN has UF as #2 and us at #12. There could be a sizable gap between those two even though they're only 10 spots apart.
But more importantly, we have 4 common opponents. UF went 3-1 and we went 2-2. Impossible to argue they haven't done better than us against common opponents.
It was only a matter of time before Army would be totally annihilated by a real football team. The pollsters play the stupid ratings game knowing some teams will eventually get blown away.
Napier barely hung on, but survived. But next year he returns 9 starters on defense and 9 on offense. Lagway is one of the best young qb around. Things are looking good. Admittedly the $10,000,000 deal for Underwood at Michigan may make it hard to keep Lagway. Sigh of relief if Napier.
Florida has the 12th most talent roster in the nation. We are at #21.
Napier only beat ONE team with more talent than Florida. Beamer beat THREE teams with more talent than SC.
Napier lost to TWO teams that had less talent than Florida. Beamer lost to ZERO teams that had less talent than SC.
And like I said, the talent levels aren't even close.
