....back to back baseball titles have changed the expectations for all sports, including men's basketball. We are no longer a feel good story. Feel good was beating Bama when they were #1, Devan Downey single handedly beating UK and Dawn taking an after thought program to a perennial top 5. We are now the hunted. I would rather compete for championships and get upset a few times a year then complete for fifth place with the occasional upset. The loss stings but I love this team.

Don't like UK and NEVER have. We have had a bad year vs, them in sports (lost in FB, MBB twice, and now WBB). Perhaps we can beat their baseball team in 2015?
Well, it was a split in WBB. And a rather meaningless loss, since we already had a share of the SEC, #1 seed in the SEC tournament, and an almost certain #1 seed in the NCAA.
We had a nice 3-year run in football, but we didn't change that perception for very long. We very quickly last year went back to the "hunter" with losses to UK and other teams that we should never lose to if we're going to be upper-echelon.....
Of the "sports that matter" (and I'm reluctantly putting women's basketball in that group) Baseball and Ladies B-Ball are sports where people outside the program look at us with respect. The 3 years in football are not much different than teams like Ok State have had. Remember, we weren't even ranked at the end of last year....

Kentucky is the biggest bunch of trash in the SEC after LSU and Georgia. I've seen it first hand up there on football trips so nothing they do surprises me. Lexington is also the only place my car has ever been messed with after going on probably 100 road trips in my life. That ought to tell you something.
