They always do in Columbia. They show up by bus loads .

The team is the real deal. It was classic when they sent 2/3 of their team to the locker room and then called a time out - and called a blitz just before the half.

I think Ol Beamer got the message.

Credit for what?? Supporting the best team in the country against a patsy? Hardly a great feat of fandom.
Seriously. Who wouldn’t be at every away game with your chest poked out if you were the defending national champions. Dumb post.

Lol a short drive from the State of Georgia for the number 1 team in the Nation. Yeah they definitely showed their Fandom by coming in droves knowing what they were up against.

Hey @ about 8:00 two charters of theirs were ahead of me hitting bluff off 77.
Thought to my self, “self, betcha there’s some un-bonded jawja corn whiskey abord.”

Look, Georgia fans bought out Notre Dame Stadium when they went up there a few years back. They paid whatever it took. The bought out Wrigley Field that same weekend. They don't play and putting a bunch of people in our place presents no problem for them.

It was Beamer who called the timeout for a Hail Mary. The blitz was UGAs response to that which forced Spencer to throw the ball out of bounds. If anything this sequence of events actually angered coach smart

Agree. That was kinda my point. Kirby’s way of telling Beamer. Don’t play Busch league stuff or I’ll score a 100 on you.

Btw. Our fans showed up to. They always do.

On a silver lining note. I think our concession prob had highest gross sales ever. Those UGA fans were pounding the beers.

Dr.’ s # 1 , 2 and 3 were busy all day

So true…. you wanna see true fans, go back to the Holtz days of 0-11. Sat through every game. Stadium was packed and loud. That’s true fans. Always had hope, and the team got better at years end. The next year Phil Petty led us to then the greatest turn around in history at that time.
