Well, we thought we would go 6-6 or 7-5. Not saying I disagree with ya. But we are 3-1 with 2 wins in toss up games.
He is still under achieving . For whatever reason he has just not Played as well as he is capable of playing.He is not calm in the pocket like he needs to be.
? Not sure how he kept his cool. Was running for his life on a decent gain and was lucky that there coverage didn't have a soul lurking in the middle of the field. The big pass to Edwards was a prayer that he threw up that Edwards just made a fantastic catch on.
Actually in his interview he said Edwards threw his hand up for him to throw him the ball and he let it fly knowing Edwards would go up and get it.
I am pretty sure it is against the rules to post anything positive on this board.

That last drive... I think Bentley went rogue on Roper... Instead of going with the plays called by Roper, he made plays on the fly...
If he didn't go rogue, we would be 2-2...
No one said he was perfect. The OP said poised. I agree Jake looked poised, especially for a sophomore. Do you remember how bad Dylan Thompson looked in late game situations against UT and UK his senior season?

If you want to give Roper all the credit, go ahead...
He's the one who couldn't call a 3rd and 1 yard play several times against KY Jelly and get into the red zone 3 straight passes when we were moving the ball on the ground...
Roper called those plays... The scramble play on the 3rd and long and the lucky throw, just as he drew them up on the board...

How sad when the most cogent thought of the day comes from a Clemson fan.
I wouldn't say the throw was luck. If that's the case then Connor Shaw and Deshaun Watson got lucky a lot throwing to Alshon and Mike Williams. It was a heads up play by Jake knowing which receiver to throw to. Remember we didn't spike the ball after Bentley scrambled for the first down. The coaches trusted him enough to know he had to give Edwards a chance in that situation.
