Love the honesty of Coach Beamer. Said in post game after DAK's success today, would understand people asking and could even question himself why didn't we go to doing this earlier this season. Also said it was Coach Satterfield's suggestion to work more with DAK at the beginning of bowl preparation. Great move by all paid off today.

well.....who else could play? It was either Dak Or Zeb.....but with that said - I think they had both prepared well which was a step in the right direction and a NEW step beyond what we had seen all year long.

If the reason our gameplan worked was because we had to hide it…that doesn’t give a lot of hope for this type of performance each week when teams can prepare for you.

Don’t know what he would have done but definitely has some talent. You don’t start at FD as a 8th grader unless you have some talent!!

My bad I meant to say JV. Having seen him play multiple times in HS get a little caught up when people act surprised at talent. He is a special athlete, great kid and only wish the best for him!!

I've said several times in the past year that we needed to move someone else into the WR position in place of Joyner. IMO he just wasn't getting it done.

That being said, there probably isn't a bigger Joyner fan than I am. I love what that kid is about, how he's preservered and always been a "team guy".

What a game DJ, congrats, made us all proud! It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy IMO.
