On another note; if history is an indicator, now that we have found something in Jones that works, expect to never see him again.
But we need to can the wildcat!! Never works and DJ never throws the ball..
If they would throw from the wildcat it might work In the future as defenses know all he is going to do is run

Remember Gilmore I believe it was basically beat tateru that one year on a pass out of the wildcat.
I actually think this was a fairly well called game, some imaginative plays mixed in. Not perfect mind you, but it is slowly getting better.
I yelled at the TV after a few offensive play calls, but overall, I have no complaints with the play-calling in this one.
I especially liked the pass-play near the end on the 3rd and 5 that went incomplete. The pass was incomplete, but we actually tried to make the first down and win the game on that play. Too many times in the past, we'd run up the middle for no gain, basically conceding that we would put the game on the backs of our defense. The play didn't work, but I'm all for trying to win the game when you have the chance.
