At this level of competition any non-citizen student-athlete is attending school (and playing sports) on a student Visa.
The University of South Carolina has several such student-athletes.

It's no secret.Every four - five years Arizona loads up on minor league prospects and several players of Central American descent The Texas teams, the Florida teams and California teams have done this for many years.I see nothing to indicate any of the other SEC or ACC practice that. It helps to speak Spanish if you plan to play baseball on any level these days. Before you call me an inappropriate name check the rosters yourselves. It is what it is.
