I think many on TIF need to temper their expectations of what Jake Bentley is capable of in this game. Of course we all hope to see a coming out party, 300 yds, 4 TDs, swagger and deep balls and creating plays, etc...but guys, he's a true frosh making his second start behind a porous offensive line with a bunch of inexperienced skill players around him. While rife with injuries, UT is still a much, MUCH more talented team than USC, with much more experience at basically every skill position. By all accounts, UT is and should be the hands-down favorite in this game, and will probably win by double digits. Please don't rip the kid, over-react, cuss, spit, or claw if this game doesn't go the way you want it to. These are kids playing a game, and they (and the coaches) all deserve our support and patience while they learn how to play as a team.

That said, nothing would make me happier than an upset of the Vols, so my eternal optimism will win out until shown otherwise! Go Cocks!
