I don't feel good about it, but I never do. I'll have to watch this one with the sound muted; it helps me to get through it. I could see us winning it - barely. Barely would be enough.
With the opt outs, we will certainly see some players today we haven't seen before or if we have in very limited action. Might be a mini preview of next year at some positions depending on what we get from the portal. My prediction.... (Heart) GameCocks 30 Irish 28.

I don't know honestly. I think we can pull off the victory if our defense holds up & Rattler & company play well on offense. Who will be calling the plays? We have to have a good game plan whether we are going to try & be 'run 1st' this game or just let Rattler toss it all over the yard.
I am confident our special teams unit will impact the game in a positive way.

Only thing I know is if we are down 7 or less at the half, we win this game.
Depends on what sort of play calling we see today. Curious to see if there was someone behind the recent production or if you go back to looking terrible.
It will be interesting. We have too many opt-outs and transfers for comfort. I think Notre Dame should win.
I imagine that they’ll run the ball pretty hard. We struggled with all of our players, I can’t imagine it improving or being equal.
My gametime prediction:
Should Carolina win, Shane Beamer will be Carolina's Head Football Coach, regardless of what he does from this point forward, for at least the next ten years, probably more.
Should Carolina get blown away, Beamer will only last another 4 years, max. (I think only 3)
Should the Gamecocks lose in a nail biter/heart breaker, it will be another "wait until next year" for the next 5 to eight years.
