Wondering if EJ will follow him?

I really, really hope not, but I wouldn’t blame him if he did. He was criminally underutilized this year!! You have a 6’7” dude with great hands and through the course of 12 offensively inept games, you dial up exactly ZERO 50/50 balls for him in the endzone.

This makes sense. He played well enough to show he could start for a number of teams next season. No point in riding the pine, waiting for an injury - it’s going to be his last year of football.

I feel this was a win-win though. We got a bowl because of him, he got exposure to show that he could play at a higher level than where he was.
