Just to make a list with the caveat that I really expected to win today but I really expected a little different scenario.

1) Who thought we would have a W if the over/under was blown up by 30pts?
2) Who thought we would first score 48pts but take 48 happily for the win?
I thought if we scored 48 it would be a blowout but really thought 48 might be total O/U? I expected more from Champ D.
3) Who gave us a win with almost a hundy scored?
I thought our Def would hold them back much more but also thought if scores ramped above 35 at Oxford, that would favor Ole Miss all day!
4) who thought we could win a score-fest? I would have bought into that for Mizzou at home but I figured if scoring and 600+yds happened, that it wouldn't end well.
5) I think this was Bentley's best day!

That said, scenarios don't include outcome, positive win for the team?!

I disagree. We played exactly like who we are. Not a good pass defense team, and though we have had good games in the run D, we're not good there either. We played a D that is about as bad as ours (and Coastal's). The KO return yards was the only stat we dominated and those 7 points made the difference.

We gave up 34 first downs, over 600 hundred yards of offence and 44 points. And, we still won. But, that needs to change to get where we want to be. When asked what was different in the 4th quarter when we had several stops, Coach Muschamp said we played more man defense and applied pressure against the quarterback. I know he and his staff know a lot more than I do, but for the life of me I can't figure out why we don't play a more pressure defense. Anybody have any insight?

I believe two reasons, 1st we were low on DBs for this game and ,2nd once we had 4 freshman in the back we became a much better pass defense. We got a chance in the 4th to see what we have for the future.

Think that with another two good recruiting classes you may be able to do that. Just don't hsve the depth with talent to do it. Funny though we couldn't with the starters but did with the four freshman.

I can tell you that Ole Miss Offense is every bit as good as Clemturds Offense. Now some people will say Clemturds defense is a lot and I mean a lot better than Ole Miss and yes that’s correct they but they also play teams with offenses that are no where near the same as the teams from the SEC. Case in point - The turds gave up 26 points to TAM we gave up 26 to TAM as well - difference was that TAM was driving and had at least a game winning field goal waiting until the fumble out of bounds. Other than TAM - name one team the turds have played that has a decent defense? Syracuse? They gave up 23 to Cuse at Clemson and managed to score 28 on Cuse. Some count us out and we most likely will lose but I don’t think it will be as bad as some think - that’s why we play the game ! GO COCKS

Agree. The only OL that we have seen or will see as good as Ole Miss' OL was UGAs.

If you're going to play pressure with man coverage, those men doing the coverage had better be great cover people. Not just good, but great. Otherwise you're going to get eaten alive unless you can mount withering pressure. The one thing we possibly have going for us in that regard is that we only have one more premier quarterback that I know of to play against.

I think the defense plays better enen though the offense has more talent! I think that was my point that people are not seeing!!! I think Champs influence is impacting his abilities but yet people can't follow when I praise the team. Yes, I didn't think we could win a shoot out because defense isn't deep enough, but then when we accelerated on offence I was really shocked.

Most fans don't realize that our defense is really shallow in depth, and that gets exposed when offense reduces their time of possession. Actually I'm not sure why people got mad about me praising the win??? Just confused I
