Except we won more than that not too long ago and did not make it in... obviously our OOC is stronger this year and the SEC is better so you are probably right but nothing is guaranteed when it comes to us and the tourney.

One followup. Is an invitation to the tournament, aside from conference champions, based strictly on NET ranking? IOW, can a team with a NET ranking higher than 60 get into the tournament without winning a conference?

Just wanted to add that having a good NET alone ranking doesn't get you in either. You can have a good NET ranking like Clemson(35) or NC State(33) did last year and still miss the tournament because they had horrible quadrant 1 & 2 records. For example Clemson was 1-10 in quadrant 1 wins and NC State 3-9. Meanwhile St John's(73)got in with a higher ranking but a more respectable 5-7 quadrant 1 wins.

We're going to have our hands full with their inside game. Anyone know if Bryant is going to play? Purifoy, Wiley and Okoro are averaging 32 ppg and 18 rpg. We need a really good game from McCreary, Bryant, Kotsar and Frink.
