I know this is a thread about the ass poking, genital grabbing practices that define Clemson football, but it goes without saying that there is also a heavy dose of unnecessary and even dirty play practiced and even taught at Clemson. Just look at the GIF above. Yes, Wilkins is getting his jollies by grabbing the butt and coping a nice feel of the OSU player's giblets while Boulware proudly watches his student.
HOWEVER; watch Bryant #91in on the assault. He could easily have gotten up without touching the OSU player at all, but watch as he lifts his right hand off of the ground and places it on the victim's neck driving his head into the turf. He then lifts his left, hand and places it on the victim's left rib cage before pushing himself up with all of his upper body weight on the victim's neck and ribs. If these guys are such fine athletes, surely getting up off the ground would not require what Bryant did. Is this really part of the game or just Clemson's game?
George Rogers once said that Clemson was the dirtiest team he ever played against. They punched, kicked, stepped on, fell on and did whatever they could to injure his hands & fingers, and his feet and legs constantly. Looks like they still practice those tactics.
