I don't believe that to be true. I am a conservative former Republucan who no longer has a home in the Reoublican Party because I disagree with their cultural conservatism and they vehemently disagree with my fiscal conservatism. Liberals and Conservatives are fine....Leftists and Rightists are a huge problem and are killing civil political discourse in this country.
I haven't watched the NFL and it hasn't been because of the Flag protest, I stopped watching the NFL because of bad match ups and just don't have time to sit down in front of the boob tube...

Hey NC - thanks for the company list but I didn`t bother to check it. As far as I know, Nike is the only company paying an ingrate millions of dollars and pushing him in the country`s face like a big ol` middle finger to the USA. He started all the crap so no some of us no longer feel we can watch the NFL because the political intrusion ruins the rest of the joy of watching. The commericial(I wanted to see it once) was well-done, but it`s also a bunch of bs, The left had made out this malcontent to be some kind of hero. I guess he is to the anti-Ameicans who have no appreciation for what "sacrifice" is. Yeah, go ahead and feel sorry for Kap while he has gotten rich off of being a terrible role model for young people. I know that`s my opinion and you disagree. The protests are totally disrespectful to our veterans and our law enforcement. They know the true meaning of the word "sacrifice" - Kap has no clue. They risk, sometimes give up, their lives so morons like Kap can freely express their opinions. Try doing that in Cuba or China - he would disappear and never be heard of. Nike has put up huge billboards of Kap in New York City and San Francisco, I think. Why don`t they put up a billboard of veterans who were killed in Iraq or Afghanistan or police officers who have been murdered because they had on a blue uniform? Of course, that will never happen. Nike is not just doing it, they are purposely rubbing it in our faces.
Funny, I was born a democrat and a liberal until I left high school... Seeing first hand what liberalism did to high school kids and their family, staying in poverty became of way of life for them, Reagan made me become conservative when you did things for yourself and not rely on the government for handouts...

I did kind of what George Will did...start identifying more with the Libertarian Party. That seems to be the refuge for disenfranchised more moderate Republicans.
