Sunday 1:30 p.m. update: I was able to catch up with OL Jovaughn Gwyn and you can check out his visit recap here. Gwyn didn't give much away in the interview, other than that he was hosted by Sadarius Hutcherson, but I've received even more positive feedback on the Gamecocks chances there since my original update. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at South Carolina.
For those who missed it, Carolina also hosted Gwyn's teammate, five-star 2019 running back Quavaris Crouch on campus Saturday. He's been on campus multiple times now.
I suspect that Rosendo Louis is going to be difficult to track down, but there's an increasing amount of confidence on the Carolina side with him. We'll see if the feedback from Louis' side matches, but he gave indications of a possible flip on the visit, I'm told. Louis checked in at almost 250 pounds on the visit.
Sunday 12 p.m. update: South Carolina's two official visits should be wrapping up now. We're going to try our best to get updates with Louis and Gwyn, but I'll warn that those are increasingly difficult to get in the days leading into signing day.
I continue to hear that Carolina is in excellent shape with Gwyn. Signs were pointing to him signing with the Gamecocks on Wednesday even before the visit and I don't see the visit doing anything to change that.
We have been told that Louis has at least been open to a flip to South Carolina and that the long-standing relationship with the Gamecocks staff is an important factor. I'm not ready to make any type of prediction there yet, but he's at least considering it.
I hope to have a more substantial update later in the afternoon.

Both LB Rosendo Louis and OL Jovaughn Gwyn have made it to Columbia for their official visits.
Louis is huge I was told. Already appears to be in the 230-pound range.
I don’t know how much I’ll pick up today but if I get anything interesting, I’ll pass it along.
