Wish I could work on cars but I have the mechanical aptitude of a five yr old girl. In defense of me I was able to put the belt that came off of my riding mower back on and patted myself on the back for hrs.:) Could not have done it without the manual. Tks to foresight of my wife who had a lift installed in the barn, that was the only way I would have gotten it back on.

And gasoline (remember when they used that word) was around
30 cents per gallon. (LOL ... this lap top doesn't even have the cents symbol).

I remember, getting a fill-up, in 1970, at the Esso station (Can't remember the street name but, it runs into I-126) and paid 25.9 cents/gal and got a white glass Carolina coffee mug

I used to work on cars in high school, but these cars today are hard to fix...

You have to be a computer programer to work on cars today...

How did the exterior get in that state? In the first picture it's hard to tell if that's bondo or paint smeared in spots on the trunk. Unless it was otherwise in fine condition and preserved in that tomb of junk over the years, I doubt there's any resto could bring it $150K.

It looks like someone put in the storage area in bad shape, maybe gave up restoring in??

I don't really think it was in storage over 45 years...

The car is about 55 or 56 years old...
